Henning Larsen’s design, convinced the Jury and the Quality Committee with a very careful and detailed approach both on the level of individual buildings, public spaces and other historic elements. This development approach will emphasize the unique history of this place, supplementing it with new spatial and architectural qualities.
Henning Larsen is rooted in the Scandinavian design tradition, merging aesthetic, social, and intellectual design features to develop vibrant, sustainable architecture that extends beyond itself and provides lasting value to the users and local context. Other large-scale urban waterfront developments Henning Larsen is currently involved with include the Belfast Waterside project and the Key West development in Brussels.
Based in Copenhagen, with local offices in New York, Munich, Hong Kong, Riyadh, Oslo, and the Faroe Islands, the Henning Larsen’s team consist of more than 325 employees of 32 nationalities.
