Cooperation for the dissemination of the history of the Imperial Shipyard

Stocznia Cesarska Development and the Maritime Historical Foundation signed on September 7th a cooperation agreement.

The cooperation between the two entities and the Solidarity Promotion Foundation started informally last April and resulted in the organization of guided tours across the Imperial Shipyard. So far, 157 trips took place, attended by over 3300 participants. Moreover, after so many years of limited public access, residents and tourists are finding their way to the area.

Another result of the ongoing collaboration is the introduction of the Imperial Shipyard Route. A self-guided tour along 13 information panels.

On October 2nd the route officially opened.

Thanks to the fact that the owner of the Imperial Shipyard made the land and the most interesting historically and architecturally interesting objects available, our trips became an important and well-rated attraction for tourists and residents of Pomerania. Through the social networks, the information about the possibility of entering such unusual places has reached several hundred thousand people. I believe that thanks to that we make people aware that there are unique objects in the post-shipyard area and everything should be done to enable their revitalization and to protect them from complete degradation. says Jarosław Żurawiński, President of the Maritime Historical Foundation.

Undertaking a formal cooperation with the Maritime Historical Foundation, Stocznia Cesarska Development aims to include the historical an cultural values as an integral part of the revitalization project.
