Second life of the Dyrekcja building

Refurbishment underway!

We are very pleased to announce, that recently we’ve received the building permit for the refurbishment of the historic Dyrekcja Building and started preparations for the refurbishment. It is one of the oldest buildings on the Imperial Shipyard area, dating back to 1878, and it played a key role in the historic events that happened in the shipyard.

As the shipyard’s administrative & management office it stood center stage during the strikes of the 70s and 80s and the emergence of Solidarnosc, which finally led to the first democratic elections in Poland in June 1989. We are proud that the renovation starts in the year that we celebrate the 30th anniversary of these defining moments.

The building will keep its original office function and layout. Within the next 16 months, we will renovate this landmark building and create on 4.000sqm a variety of office spaces and shared amenities, such as conference rooms, a cafe, kitchenettes, lounge areas, and even an event space.
The cherry-on-the-cake will be the co-working spaces located on the top two floors.

With the start of the refurbishment, we are also initiating the cooperation with the Tri-City branch
of global real estate services firm Cushman & Wakefield for the commercialization of the building.
Visit our Offerings section to find out more about the project.

Recently we’ve also engaged Roark Studio in the project. The architecture firm from Sopot
is responsible for the interior and execution design of the building. The team is completed
by TPS Reapolis that is brought on board for the construction management of the project.

Stay tuned for updates!
