“People at the heart”. To us this is not only a slogan in our Manifesto but a commitment.
Therefore, creating a lively neighborhood is a process, which can’t success without social consultations.

In the summer of 2018 we organized in corporation with the research company Inny Format research walks, focus groups and a representative online survey among the inhabitants of Gdansk.

We invited 35 residents of Gdansk across different demographic groups (from 17 to 72 years) to participate in the research walks.

During the research walks, we asked the participants to share with us what they see, feel and how they imagine the future of this place.

Afterwards, we invited the participants to a group discussion, during which we presented our plans in detail and asked the participants for their opinions.

The online survey was conducted among 336 inhabitants of Gdansk, which is a representative sample.

The results proved to be very valuable and we learned that 80-90% support our development concept.

Moreover, we were overwhelmed by the diversity, originality of the feedback and ideas.

In this video, we explain what we did and summarize some of the interesting outcomes.

As the project progresses, we will make sure to continue the dialogue with the inhabitants and write #newstories together.
