Mind Dock – CNTNR Village

We’ve entered the final stage of the competition

We’ve finalized the workshop part of the “Mind Dock – CNTNR Village at the Imperial Shipyard” competition for the temporary development of a fragment of the Imperial Shipyard in Gdansk.
During the workshops, the students of the architecture faculty of the Sopot University, who take part
in the competition, had the opportunity to participate in a series of interesting lectures and learn about the Imperial Shipyard from “out the back” during a guided walk with a tourist guide from the Historic Maritime Foundation. It was extremely important for the students, wanting to participate in the competition and try their hand at redefining this precious historical and cultural space of Gdansk
to feel the atmosphere of the place and understand the context of this post-industrial space.

The Students actively participated in the workshops and lectures led by invited experts,
including among others Erik Boer, who is involved in the activation of startups in the Netherlands, and the “digital nomad” Danish Soomro, who worked in the most diverse spaces around the world and created start-ups in various parts of the globe.

Now the students have time to complete their projects, which will be presented to the Jury, consisting of representatives of the Sopot University, Stocznia Cesarska Development, the Gdańsk Entrepreneurship Foundation STARTER, Mirage Group and prof. Piotr Lorens in the first half of April. The results of the competition will be announced a few days later.
