For the fifth time in a row, the Gdańsk Entrepreneurship Foundation, together with the City of Gdańsk and Dziennik Bałtycki, awarded engaged and entrepreneurial inhabitants of Gdańsk. The winners were selected both by the jury and the inhabitants of Gdańsk, by an online voting.
The idea of this competition is to honor active citizens and entrepreneurs who contribute to the social and economic development of the city with their entrepreneurial activities.
This year Stocznia Cesarska received the Jury award in the category “Entrepreneurs supporting the Gdańsk brand”. Both our efforts in building a community and placemaking activities were assessed by the Jury as unrivaled. This award really means a lot to us. It is an important acknowledgment of all the hard work and dedication we put into this.

But all this wouldn’t be possible without our community of placemakers, who are on a daily basis creating the #newstories together with us. So, it is not a big surprise, that Beata and Piotr Kozłowski from Fundacja Galar Gdański won the citizens prize and CUMY makerspace were on the 4th place in the same category.
